SONG-HD: Standardised Outcomes in Nephrology – Haemodialysis

The Standardised Outcomes in Nephrology – Haemodialysis (SONG-HD) is an international initiative that aims to establish a core outcome set for haemodialysis trials. The outcomes will be developed based on the shared priorities of patients, caregivers, health professionals, researchers, and policy makers.

A core outcome set to be consistently measured and reported in haemodialysis trials will help to improve the integrity, transparency, usability, and contribution of research relevant to people on haemodialysis, and their caregivers and healthcare providers.

You are invited to take part in an international survey to inform the development of core outcomes for research in haemodialysis. Ultimately, we want to achieve consensus across stakeholder groups. There will be three short online surveys conducted about two weeks apart during September/October 2015. The survey will ask you to rate the importance of different outcomes in haemodialysis. If you are interested in participating in this survey, please register via: http://songinitiative.org/index.php/register-for-the-delphi-survey/ Registration closes end-August.
