Nicole Scholes-Robertson, BAppSci (Physiotherapy) is a physiotherapist, PhD candidate at The University of Sydney with a NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship and a Patient Partner at the Centre for Kidney Research (CKR), with lived experience of peritoneal dialysis and living donor kidney transplantation.
Her research focus is on rural patient access to kidney replacement therapy and consumer/patient involvement in research. Her role as patient partner/consumer within the kidney research area is extensive with roles including co-chair Beat-CKD Consumer advisory board, consumer member of the Australasian Kidney Trials network (AKTN) scientific committee and SONG-GN steering committee, and she is also Consumer Editor for Cochrane Kidney and Transplant.
Nicki lives in rural Australia and is involved with local support of Kidney patients and their families in northern NSW. In her spare time she love to grow roses and bush walking.
